After some serious research into where to get the best steak in London, my sister and I decided after reading such great reviews that we would not be disappointed dining here. What a shame it let us down. The starter of marrowbone was meagre to say the least, barely a teaspoon of marrow and some toast for £6!! We ordered the rib-eye and although it was a good size and well cooked the flavour was no different to steak I've had in my local pub. For £28 each I really was expecting something special. Sides were a bit disappointing and again expensive, small dish of oily mac and cheese, the chips were OK but not incredible like some reviewers have said. We did share a lovely bottle of Domaine de Cabrials Pinot noir though! The final bill for lunch was enormous. If the meal had been amazing the price could be justified, but I just left feeling ripped off and a bit confused as to why it's so popular.
