If you are not looking for fancy big hotels and buffet breakfast facilities, then this
small hotel might be your choice.
It is very conveniently located only 800 meters from the Oxford street, with
walking distance to Leicester Square, to Soho, even to theatres.

We had a nice upstairs room ( with little extra... ) to avoid the basement.

The room was clean, bathroom modernish, basically all what you need during
few days stay.

The staff was friendly, there was a wifi in the hotel.

However to us the location was the thing that mainly mattered.

Good option to remember.

Stayed here for one night from the 18th or October to the 19th, I have stayed in many hotels in London and this is very basic but was perfect for our little trip. It is a good location to Covent garden only taking us about 15 mins to walk there. The room was clean and the bed was comfy, we had an en-suite bathroom and again this was clean. The breakfast was basic continental which was perfect as I am not a fan of the full English, they also offered hot chocolate, tea and coffee and fruit and cereal. The staff were lovey and friendly. All in all I would stay again

This small hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Bloomsbury, short walk to the Goodge St. tube station on Tottenham Court Road. University College London is across the street, The hotel is small and therefore quiet. Martin (manager) is helpful and courteous. The rooms are basic but that's all I needed in London. I walked everywhere and enjoyed my stay in London.

Room Tip: Select a room in the back, as it's quiet.

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Good location. Room was very small and quite basic but was comfortable and very clean. Staff more helpful and the hotel is well situated between 2 underground stations so was a convenient base to explore London from!

I stayed here for one night with my boyfriend in September. I would consider this to be a budget hotel for London, but it definitely exceeded our expectations.

The location is fantastic, just a 10-minute walk from Euston station. It's on a main road so there is a lot of traffic noise but you've got to expect that in London.

The room was quaint and clean, with an en-suite, air-con and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast offered cereals, fruit, bread and pastry - not a huge variety but more than good enough for us as we are not fussy eaters.

Checkout was at 11.00am which was pleasant, some hotels have checkout at 10.00am which I find too early.

Thank you for a lovely, welcoming stay Gower House Hotel, we will definitely be booking again when we next visit to London.

The hotel is best situated in matter of walking distance to central London and also in matters of transportation. Bus stop ans tube stop just nearby. The hotel is small and clean. The room we got on the 2nd day after switching was spacious enough. The room we got on the 1st day is located at the cellar floor with a window to the main street- it was quite noisy eve with the double glazing.
Breakfast is good and basic. The staff was very nice!
