Its a gamble going off piste in London but sometimes prices predict this. This Gower Street hotel is dingy , dark, like most London hotels rooms are small and the breakfast is poor. I was told as I was checking in early I would get the best room in the hotel, I glad I did as I can only imagine what the others were like, although it was clean.
At breakfast on a very wobbly chair I was asked if I would like coffee or tea, I answered coffee and waited and waited until I realised there was a self service pot in the corner, why ask ? just say the coffee is over there. It was barely warm coffee.
I was then handed a basket with a Croissant, a bread roll and a small Danish pastry, there was a small pot of Marmalade and a small pot of very yellow and runny margarine type spread, nothing else . All of this for £155 , needless to say I wont rush back.More
