Neighbourhood: Soho
Description: We are a restaurant in Soho reinvigorating kebabs with provenance, seasonality and technique honed in Michelin starred kitchens. Our kitchen team have come together to explore new approaches to this ancient dish. The kebabs combine brilliant seasonal ingredients and the wood-fired flavours of the Middle East, near East and South Asia. We cook on a wood and charcoal-fired robata.

Found out that they serve halal chicken and lamb so gave it a try.

Great place to experience a twist to the well known kebabs! Ordered some hummus for starter which was good. For mains ordered a chicken shish and the lamb adana and both were great. It looks and tastes great, you might be quite dubious when you see a restaurant charging £12.50 for a kebab but the meat quality and the taste certainly justifies.

Tucked away at the top floor of Kingly Court off Carnaby st, so a great place to grab a top quality munch after some shopping.

This place is small but boy oh boy do they make up for it with the food. The humus starter is not what you would expect but it is a great alternative. Very inventive. The kebabs are succulent and they use the best organic meat. The fries with cheese sauce was delicious and so was the endive salad. The prosecco is a brilliant choice.
The only dish we did not like was the kale salad, which is cooked with lamb juices.
Service faultless. Child friendly despite being a tight fit.
All in all, very impressive. Well done.

Compact "shabby chic" contemporary kebab restaurant with small menu but well served food. Cod cheek starter slightly disappointing due to lack of flavor but all else selected was lovely. Expensive for what we had but good for lunch pre matinee food.

I was eating alone and have to say I had one of the best dining experiences at Le Bab. The staff squeezed me into a fully booked Saturday night at the bar and I’m so glad they did. The food was great, plenty of choice and the fondue chips were amazing! Reasonably priced and in a great location. Will 100% be visiting again!
