We were looking for somewhere to eat on our second night in Whitby. We had left it to the last minute to book something and managed to get a table in this restaurant.
We were a bit dubious as we had read some of the reviews before hand but we were really impressed from the start.
Table was booked for 8pm we got seated just before.Staff were attentive and friendly.Food was lovely we both had Chicken dishes and there was plenty of meat in both.Great taste not bland at all.
Reasonably priced. Our bill came to just over £36 (4 poppadoms, pickle tray, mains, naan breads and 2 pints of Cobra).
Place was clean and had modern decor. We would def eat here again next time we are in Whitby..

3 of us wandered in to this place - the staff haven’t a clue and there is a sense of a lack of interest in the most basic of attention or conversation with guests
The food was ok at best
Not a normal approach from me or my friends but the bill was paid to the penny

We went here late evening on the Saturday of our stay. The food was not good at all. Very bland and no flavour. There were 6 of us and all said the same. I dont eat curry and had chicken tikka which had no flavour at all. The restaurant was lovely furnished but would not go again.

While staying in Whitby we ordered a takeaway meal to take back to the cottage. The staff were friendly and helpful and we did not have to wait long before our meals were cooked. All the dishes we ordered were absolutely delicious, as were the rices and naans and very generous portion sizes. The only down side was that we do not live in the area so can not experience such a good Indian Takeaway on a regular basis. When next in Whitby we will definitely return and we thought the prices were very reasonable.e
