Stayed at the Joben for the weekend at the end of July. Jill the landlady was very helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed in the superior room which was very well equipped. We had a private bathroom just along the corridor. This didn't prove to be a problem. The only downside is that if you like a shower this facility is not available, however there is a very nice bath. Towels are provided and there are plenty. The breakfast was brilliant and filled us filled us for the day.

Parking wasn't a problem. We parked in the 24hrs car park for £7.50 which was less than 10 minutes away

My husband and I came to Whitby for a few days and stayed at Joben guest house. We found it without any problems, used a navigator. The landlady is lovely and very friendly, goes an extra mile to cater to her guests' tastes; the guest house is small and everyone receives a lot of personal attention. We stayed at an en suite room, which was very comfortable although on the small side, which we did not mind. The place is quite close to the sea, shops, restaurants but the street itself is very quiet and you can relax in your room; we walked around and had the car parked round the corner in a carpark. We could probably get a parking space in the street but just did not bother really. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and will gladly stay there again if we come to Whitby.

Had a great night here for my daughter's birthday. The family room was spacious and cosy. The shower room was just outside. Breakfast had the works and was tasty. Jill was really friendly and made our stay a real pleasure. We will definitely stay again when next in Whitby.

2nd visit to the joben and was just as good the 2nd time. Jill is lovely and gave us a warm welcome. Our room was lovely and clean and nicely decorated and The bed was really comfy. Jill does a good hearty breakfast. And It's only 5 mins walk to the front. Would def recommend staying here.
