We waited a long time to get a table in the evening (we thought it might be quiet!) but it was worth it. We had lobster thermidor and a grilled haddock and both were delicious. Chips and salad accompaniments were great. Nice cold bottle of Picpoul wine and a pint went down well. The ladies provided very friendly service and work hard, but there was a very long wait for the food. I guess if we had had starters we would not have noticed that so much. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the food very much when it arrived. Have visited a few times before but usually at lunchtimes and just had standard fried fish and chips so this was a new experience for us, having an evening meal and something a bit different.
