Went with my partner for a birthday treat and had a wonderful time. Jane and Peter are wonderful hosts. Our room was lovely and the bed was soooo comfortable.. Jane provides gorgeous homemade flapjacks in the rooms. Breakfast is delicious and the choices very good. 10 minute walk from the old town. Truly a fab find. I have stayed once before and hope to stay again. Peter and Jane kindly provided a small bottle of Prosecco in our room the day of my partners birthday. Such a kind touch. Highly recommended

Jane and Peter manage to combine informality and excellence in this lovely B&B just a 15 minute walk from the centre of the City. My room was comfortable, clean and spacious and there were nice touches, such as fresh milk for early morning tea. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts are welcoming and helpful, without ever being intrusive. I highly recommend Feversham Lodge.

We had a couple of nights in May and were surprised by the close location to the city of York. Free parking was an added bonus.
Peter and Jane were very welcoming and helpful and we had a lovely room which was beautifully decorated with Turkish artefacts. Very comfortable bed and nice shower room.
Breakfast was first class.
Nothing to dislike.

We stayed here for a weekend break to celebrate my Husband's 50th Birthday. Our room was spotlessly clean and in a Moroccan unique style. We had lovely fluffy towels, very comfy bed and homemade flapjack and biscuits plus fresh milk outside the room in a fridge to add to our coffee if wanted. This attention to detail was great and all added to the excellent experience of staying here. Our hosts couldn't have done more to help us and provided a delicious breakfast both mornings. This guesthouse is only 15 minutes walk from the City Centre and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to others.

We stayed here with friends for a 50th Birthday celebration, Peter and Jane were very helpful and accommodating, it is an ideal place to stay in York as it is walking distance to the city centre and has the advantage of parking, Breakfast is really good with plenty of options to suit all tastes. we were lucky enough to go when the weather was warm and sunny and our room (African themed) has the morning sun shining in.
All in all I would recommend Feversham Lodge as a place to stay.
