We were lucky enough to discover this place, and have been back many times ever since.
Its often busy, and you may need to wait a bit for a table, or squise down with someone else. But its worth it. It is such a quirky little place with tons of personality and great atmosphere.
Friendly staff, nice beer, and considering the size of the "kitchen" - great food! :)
Well worth a visit!

Was told about this bar/pub from friends who had visited the day before and ate there. It was described to me as a trappist bar, and they were not wrong. The shop downstairs was chalk full of trappist goodies. Upstairs the bar area is a site to behold, animal heads everywhere in a space that I can only describe as the inside of a hunting lodge. It was very crowded when we went in on a Saturday night, Sunday night was not as crowded but still had to wait for a seat. The beer selection is very good with a couple of solid trappist beers such as Kwak on tap. They also offered tastings of the very strong beers made by the Scottish brewery Brewdog. The unisex bathroom downstairs with alcohol memorabilia reminded me of being in a late 90's rock/punk club. The number one reason you would go to this place is the atmosphere. Intimate with busy but friendly bar staff, even ended up trading stories and laughs with the table next to us. You can not enter this bar with the attitude of," MY way, RIGHT away"! Wait for your turn and enjoy the atmosphere around you for what it is, relaxing and fun.
