After being evacuated from cogenhoe I stayed in this hotel. I have to say Peter, Lesley and Kelly on reception made it so stress free. They were unbelievable and help us all. Having been evacuated in Dec and stayed else where, this hotel will definitely will be my point of call. The food was amazing and loads of it, having lived of sandwiches in other hotels it was lovely to have hot good quality food. Room are good and the price is exceptional. Can’t thank you enough for turning what was a very stressful situation into a safe haven. Thank you from steve and cogenhoe residents

We stayed at this hotel after being evacuated from our home during the 2020 Christmas Eve floods in Northamptonshire. It is a basic, clean hotel but what gives it the five star rating is the staff. Friendly, professional, full of empathy and understanding, they couldn't do enough to make our stay more comfortable. I hope their manager reads this as they should be acknowledged for their hard work.

I had an early start in the morning so planned to go down for Breakfast at 06:30. When I went down to the dining area in the morning, the kitchen was closed. The night porter explained that the hotel hadn't booked in any staff to open the kitchen. I complained about this and the hotel refunded the cost of breakfast a week later. Er OK, but kind of misses the point.
The room was decent and you get what you pay for. Although you don't get breakfast at Northampton Campanile, even if you've paid for it.
