stayed here quite a few times and always had a nice quick check in. breakfast is free and included within the room rate. breakfast very basic but nice enough to set you up for the day.
i always manage to get a good rate, especially if you book through the ihg app.

An average Holiday Inn, no better or worse other than staff members lax attitudes letting the place down. Various issues with the room, none resolved and upon pushing for response I was simply shrugged at and told ‘we are busy today’. I won’t be returning.

Stopped here for one night whilst returning from a new year visit to friends. The receptionist on arrival (Chantelle) was extremely friendly and helpful and acknowledged my IHG membership. In fact all the staff we met were very friendly. The room was good with a nice high pressure hot shower, though the positioning of electrical sockets could be improved. Breakfast in the morning was basic but tasty and one of the hottest buffets I have ever had. Overall a very good stay for a bargain price of £38!. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Typical Holiday inn express but modern comfortable hotel with helpful friendly staff great value would use again and found it convenient for our purpose which was unfortunately for a funeral just before new yeat
I have used various hotels in Northampton over the years and this has got to be the best.
The hotel is modern with ample parking and conveniently just of the M1 motorway.
The room was large, clean and well equipped. The free wifi was easy to use and fast. For the price I can honestly state that it was excellent value.
I was staying for 2 nights from Christmas Eve and even though the staff were away from their family and friends you wouldn’t have noticed. They were cheery, welcoming and helpful. They were certainly a credit to their employers.
A buffet style cooked breakfast was included in the price and although the restaurant was busy there were no significant delays.
The only negative point I would make was that their prices for snacks and cool drinks from the open chiller were excessive. I accept that they have a captive market and that we have to pay for convenience but when an organisation makes motorway service stations look inexpensive it is time to review price expectations.
