Not obviously reflective of the TV adverts, and you can get similar facilities in other hotel chains for about half the price.
Windows didn't close properly and bathroom lighting was inadequate.
Overall I was disappointed, and had naively been tempted into again trying Premier Inn as a result of their advertising.

Stayed at this hotel on Easter Saturday as we were attending a wedding locally. The staff were extremely friendly, from the very helpful lady on reception (Kat) through to the head housekeeper (Khaoula). The room was spotless and to top it all, we were left a lovely Easter gift of eggs and chocolate bars. In all, a very pleasant stay.

Good overall stay but breakfast could have been better. Have had better breakfasts at other premier inns. Porridge was just about edible and the sausage looked anemic! A lot of the items it showed on the menu were not available.

A typical Premier Inn, clean and functional.
It's getting a bit 'tired' in the rooms and really needs a refurbish. Got a bit fed up battling with the taps trying to turn them off fully, bring on ceramic disc. We stayed on the first floor and the shower pressure was non -existent. Also noted the clip that should be holding the mains lead, for the room heater, to the wall had come adrift leaving the cable drooping. As mentioned, just getting generally tired.
On the plus side the staff were fantastic. We dealt with Kat in reception and Khaoula, in charge of Housekeeping. You couldn't want two more professional, effective and friendly members of staff, brilliant.

Then there was the restaurant next door.... The main problem is they just need more staff. They haven't got enough to deal with the throughput of customers. The general lack of provisions at breakfast with the plates provided being dirty and wet is just not on.
We also had the evening meal. Me, Jumbo Cod and Chips, which was absolutely delicious with the Cod being lovely and moist and flaky with an excellent batter. The chips were good too. My wife had a Cheese Burger and commented how good it was. But..... a long long wait to be served.
The staff themselves were very helpful and pleasant, just not enough of them.

To sum up, would definitely stay in the hotel again but would think seriously about using the restaurant.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces away from the A428 Bedford Road
