Very clean and comfortable. Lots of space in the room and able to get two twin beds.
Great access to town.

We have stayed here once a year for the last 6 years for an annual event we attend, and great to see a refurb has finally taken place.
Stayed in a premier plus room, very comfortable and at the standard expected, only downside was lack of free view channels on TV, a very limited viewing option. Only premier plus rooms have air conditioning.
The reception staff when checked were great, very friendly and personable.
We booked to go to breakfast on the Saturday of our 2 night stay, this is at the pub next door and advertised in the rooms. This was the only thing that let the hotel down and stopped it being a 5/5 for me. Breakfast should have started at 8am, went to pub and it was locked and in darkness, asked at hotel reception and didn’t seem interested. Opened about 5 mins later, but nothing was out or ready, no acknowledgment from the member of staff not even a hello. The tea and coffee you make yourselves and are just the sachets of coffee with a hot urn of water. Decided to give it a miss and grabbed breakfast elsewhere.

Room Tip: Don’t rely on pub next door for food. A great pub at roundabout nearby for evening meal.

Rooms were very clean and quiet, location was ideal, and the breakfast was very good value. Staff were also very welcoming.

Excellent 3 night stay at this Premier Inn for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Newly refurbished to a good standard, spotlessly clean and the Premier Plus room has all you need for a comfortable stay. All reception staff, very personable, and welcoming. No restaurant at the hotel itself and it is not in central Northampton (in a light industrial estate on the outskirts) but there is an adequate Hungry Horse literally next door and another bar/restaurant within a 5-10 minute walk. Although there is no restaurant at the hotel, for Grand Prix weekend there was a range of snacks, water, fruit, cartons of juice, crisps etc available beside reception, free of charge or for a discretionary donation to charity. Plenty free parking outside too. We chose this hotel as our usual hotel in Northampton during the Grand Prix was fully booked. Until this year, it was under the radar, but it is certainly not now.
Room tip: Only 3 stars for location as it isn’t central but ideal for the Grand Prix weekend and the M1.

I stayed here for 1 night in June by myself having pre-booked a Premier Plus room in advance via their website.
The location is easy to find and plenty of free parking outside the hotel.
There is no restaurant at the hotel but there is a Hungry Horse pub next door.
Staff were friendly and professional.
The Plus room I had was located on the 1st floor and the hotel has no lifts. So it was a bit painful lugging my large suitcase up a flight of stairs to get to and from my room.
However, the room itself was one of the best Premier Inn rooms I have stayed in. The interior was extremely spacious and very nice décor & furniture. Plus rooms come very well equipped with a good coffee machine, complimentary water bottles, ironing facilities, large TV etc
I would happily stay here for future visits to Northampton.

Lovely hotel especially as recently refitted and refurbished. The room we stayed in looked like new and was very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating, polite and welcoming. The hotel is easy to find which helps. Would have preferred slightly better parking though, the blue badge space was a little tight to turn into.
