The staff was friendly and would stop for a chat and make you feel welcome, hotel was clean food was great, service was good, everyone friendly lots of parking spaces lovely view from room and pub, had good night sleep beds very comfy
Room smelt of sewage. Due to heat we were going to take off quilt cover to use as a sheet but due to disgusting stains on quilt thought best to leave it on . Also what looked like make up on the pillowcase and a stain on the pillow that looked to be blood . We have added photos of these stains. Due to location of lake at back we could hear noisy wildlife. Very disappointed. As we have never had a problem with Premier Inns before. We are using this Inn as we are in the area for my husbands birthday treat and this experience has fallen very short of what we expected.
Nothing at all to complain about except the temperature. The room was comfy, everything was clean and we got a quiet night. There just really really needs to be an investment in aircon from the whole Premier Inn chain, your rooms are sweltering and none of us got a full nights sleep because of the heat.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were put in a room at the back of the hotel . There was some noise from the entertainment venue of Billing Aquadrome next door. On returning to our room from an evening at the Quays next door, we walked in and the stench in the room of what I can only describe as sewage was so bad both myself and my partner heaved. We know there is a sewage works close by but there was no smell outside at all. The staff moved us to a room opposite but this room also ended up smelly.
Needs refurbishment very dated not enough room for social distance, bed in room was nice cobwebs all over ceilings curtains (net was filthy) Covid paper in room had food stains all over it. Very noisy didn’t get that much sleep coming from other rooms till early hours
