A beautiful hotel and restaurant, tucked away in a residential corner of Northampton. Plenty of parking, even though I arrived late. Friendly staff and my room was gorgeous and felt steeped in history with stone walls surrounding the windows. Breakfast was efficient and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would love to return!

There's much to like about The Hopping Hare. Excellent food, well stocked bar, clean and a comfortable room. Pleasant bar area and restaurant, a great breakfast and a terrific dinner. Very friendly and very professional staff and management

This is the best place to stay in the area. The room was large. The dinner was excellent. The hard working staff were very friendly. It is nice to stay somewhere that isn’t in a chain and has a good atmosphere and character. They need an electric charging point for EVs.

Stayed here overnight and met some friends for dinner, really fantastic meal, beautifully cooked and staff were friendly and helpful.
Would recommend the duo of pork although my wife had the cod and said it was the best she had eaten in a long time. Altogether excellent!
