This petite bakery uses every inch to deliver a welcome and refreshing change to the chain market coffee outlets. They sell gorgeous bread baked on the premises and make sandwiches and a small selection of cakes and pastries to order. The coffee is good and there a couple of tables where you can share some space with others or find a quiet corner. The houmous pastry roll is my favourite and we look forward to taking a sourdough loaf home to enjoy.

A real treat, yummy cakes on offer made fresh on site, and a great selection of coffee and teas available. I really enjoyed the lovely, unique sandwich combinations, and they work so well. Highly recommend this place, it's worth a visit

We drove out of our way to pick up breakfast from here late one Saturday morning, to break a long journey. We had checked out the reviews of all the cafes in quite a wide area on our route, and this one stood out. We nearly didn't find it- but trust google map and it will lead you right there - a great little gem of a place, which seems to have been born in an end of terrace house! Not many seats - but a lovely half hour stop, with great coffee.

……. and it surely was worth it. Intimate little café / shop / bakery. Immaculately furnished. Lovely staff. An obvious passion for baking. Delicious smooth coffee. My wife had bacon croissant with maple syrup. I had banana and caramel cake. These were both outstanding. Bought a sourdough loaf to take home for lunch. Deeeelicious. We'll be back.

Yes it does get busy, but doesnt that just tell you how popular this terrific little cafe is. The staff are friendly, the cakes (carrot is the best ever!), the sarnies (butttermilk chicken should definitly not be missed) along with the bread and scotch eggs (on a sunday only, but a different type each week) are not to be missed.

Not in a busy thoroughfare, but hunt it down - you will not be dissappointed - and you'll keep going back.
