Stayed here recently for a work trip. Check in process was quick and efficient, fantastic start! Went to the room on the 4th floor - upon entering room was clean which is always a great start to entering a hotel room. The room was rather warm and stuffy - no problem, I'll open the window... Windows on the 4th floor don't open, completely understand from a safety aspect. Turned around to put the table top or pedestal fan on - neither in the room. Now I know June hasn't been an especially warm month, but heat rises throughout a building and the 4th floor was very warm in the corridor and outside of the lift (most likely due to the non eco lamps in the downlights in the lift lobby...) Thought I'd leave it for now and try to grab someone on reception when heading down for dinner. Went down at 6.30pm, had a look around and no one on reception so just go ton with it and went for dinner, waited a few minutes to get seated which is no problem - then took someone nearly 15 minutes to come take my order. At this point with the warm room and warm restaurant I was rather in need of a cold drink of some sort. From here on it got slightly better.
Food was good, drink was good, the overall night sleep was good, albeit somewhat warm and again very warm in the morning. Breakfast was good and quick, much prefer the hotels with the buffet system than cook to order.
Would I come back, most likely not unless there wasn't any other Premier Inn's or order local budget hotels nearby.
