A little hidden away, this little place is beautiful with friendly staff and an excellent food selection - sweet and savoury.

Stumbled across this place quite by accident, I was lost and the outside tables and “French” feel of this place made me stop and look. I also love to support the independents rather than big chains.

I love the crêperies in France so obviously I had to go in, I had a traditional lemon and sugar crêpe (the best!) and a cappuccino, great food and great coffee. If I was being pedantic I’d have probably cooked my crepe slightly less but that’s personal preference, I’ll be back and will be recommending to others! Thank you team!

If you're in a rush it might be best to stick with a takeaway from any well known chain (☹) but if you're not it would be a crime to miss Aubreys.

I wrote a complimentary review of this small but lovely establishment a few years ago and have been equally delighted on several visits since then - just that they are still in business during these trying times when so many shops near them have closed or changed hands is either a big achievement or a big indication of how (deservedly) popular this little eatery is.

Today however, I had the most magnificent crepe with grand marnier and fresh orange slices. The server, when delivering it to me, even said she was jealous - it looked so magnificent in it's rich orangey sauce & trimmings I hardly wanted to stick a knife it but you can rest assured there was very little trace of anything left on the plate before I left.

Thoroughly recommend a visit and definitely looking forward to my next one. Well done Aubrey's.

Lovely unique creperie hidden away fro the hustle and bustle of the city, yet right in the city centre. Offers a mouth-watering range of sweet and savoury (crepes and galettes). Ideal size for a lunch or you can indulge for a full meal. Gluten free pancakes are perfectly cooked and filled with a generous helping of sweet or savoury mixes. You can also opt for the tasters - 3 smaller size pancakes with different fillings. Good range of coffees and teas, plus French wines and ciders (cidres). Great place to pop in for lunch. Don't accept bookings but you can call in and, if busy, will put you down for a table and let you know when to return. Ideal for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free options. Small but characteristic setting in typical French décor. Children welcome. Will definitely be back!

We're there about 2 hours due to the slow service. Had 4 adults and 2 toddlers. Saw owner rush out to buy more eggs and flour, rather a fundamental thing to run out of in a pancake shop. I think this would be better for couples not in a rush rather than large groups. Run out of tiny kitchen with only two pancake hot plates.
