This is just outside the castle but castle ticket gets you in a lot to see very nicely set out great visit especially if you are into to nostalgia

At £2.50 it is a bargain! We arrived a few minutes before it opened and sat talking to the wonderful volunteers that were working in the garden and the museum. One went and made us a cup of coffee while we waited. The exhibits and the building are interesting and give a view of local life though various times in history. The staff are wonderful, helpful and informative. We finished by visiting the school room and again a lovely informative chat with the 'teacher'!

Went here to find it closed. Only open at weekends and on bank holidays. However it is next door to Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, so we visited there instead.

The cost is £2.50 or free with a Nottingham Castle entrance ticket, and this museum is worth every penny! It's like a TARDIS in that it looks relatively small from the outside, but that is deceiving! It is huge! Well worth a mooch!

This little place is like a Tardis - you go in and think it's small but there's so much packed in there, and many more rooms than you'd imagine! Interesting place to spend an hour or so. There's a historic pub next door so great way to learn some things about Nottingham and then have a drink or spot of lunch.
Staff very friendly, and good value for the price.

Fantastic array of historical artefacts. A great trip down memory lane! Entrance was included with ticket to Nottingham Castle.
