A very enjoyable stay. Many plus points... unbeatable central Oxford location in the quiet and unspoilt Jericho area. Plenty of good restaurants nearby, wine bars and cocktail bars. Well appointed accommodation - comfortable lounge area and modern kitchen/diner in open plan ground floor.Recently redecorated with rugs and interesting pictures and artefacts. Good fridge freezer, ovens and stove. Bedrooms well furnished, warm and quiet with warm carpets. Modern bathrooms.
The only very minor negatives are that the kitchen needs a few more items - only one small cook's knife (4" and not too sharp) provided and there is a need for a couple more saucepans (one small and one very large only provided). Despite this we had a very agreeable Xmas here. Nice touches included a Xmas Tree and a gift of biscuits!
Be aware that Oxford City Council does all it can to deter motorists! No on road parking available outside the house and nearest parking on road is £4 for 2 hours. To be honest you don't need a car in Oxford and your best bet is after dropping off your bags at the house is to put your car in one of the Park and Ride carparks on the edge of the city.
