Exquisitely well maintained and tastefully decorated apartment. My husband and I had an extremely comfortable 2-night stay. The comfort level and amenities provided is comparable to any four-star hotel, and, in my view, the pictures here do not do full justice to it. John and Amanda are wonderful hosts, warm, helpful and friendly as people. I would highly recommend it.

An excellent apartment,clean and comfortable in a quiet setting,but within 15min to the centre of Oxford.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the modern kitchen was extremely functional and well equipped.
We used the oxford brookes bus which runs from the Harcourt hill site which is literally 5min from the apartment and stops at Oxford high street.

Outstanding accommodation located outside Oxford city. Beautiful treelined neighbourhood, walking distance to bus that takes you straight into the city. Easy access off freeway.
Immaculately presented. Clean, comfortable, with everything you need. Having the washing machine was a great bonus.

An extremely well-appointed apartment with excellent owners. I very much hope to stay here again. The apartment is on a private road just outside of Oxford. Surrounded by very expensive homes. There are some lovely places to walk in the countryside very close by. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and utensils. Everything is brand new. Amanda even left us a pint of milk and some cookies. There was also coffee, tea, and sugar. Plus clingwrap, foil, and cooking oil. Really great place.

I spent five nights in this beautifully finished, well-furnished and very clean one bedroom apartment located in a really quite and restful neighbourhood of Oxford. And, even though the advert had advised a car may be needed, getting to the city centre was no trouble at all as the Brooke University bus service is just about 7 minutes’ walk away.

Booking the apartment was exceedingly easy and the owners – who live next door, are super in every sense!

The apartment was definitely a welcome place to retire to after a hectic day. The quiet and serenity of the apartment and neighbourhood had a calming and relaxing/therapeutic effect. I look forward to staying there again and again.

Lovely apartment!

We booked the Oxford apartment for a long weekend after finding most of the hotels and B&B’s full – we should have looked here first!! The apartment is finished to a very high standard and provides everything that you could possibly want for a relaxing and peaceful break in Oxford. The accommodation is located in a very quiet and private road with off road parking (very few hotels or B&B’s in Oxford offer any kind of parking) with a bus stop/park & ride less than 10 minutes walk away which provides frequent access in to Oxford city centre.

Booking the accommodation was straight forward and hassle free with very good communication that included precise directions to the apartment. During our stay we were greeted by the owners (as they live next door) and made to feel very welcome which was appreciated.

We have stayed in a number of quality hotels and apartments around the UK and this is right up there with the best. If you read TA reviews on some of the city centre hotels that are charging around £200 per night there are mentions of street noise, uncomfortable temperatures within the hotels, no parking and many other problems/concerns. You will find none of these issues at the Oxford Apartments and if we were to visit Oxford again or asked to recommend somewhere to stay in Oxford this would be our first choice!!
