The nearest shops have local supermarkets, newsagents, banks and cash points, a post office, chemist and a range of take aways. Larger superstores are a short drive around the City ring road.
The City centre is a 10 minute drive and is easily accessed by car, bus, taxi, cycle or walking. A regular bus service starting from Oxford Brookes Harcourt Hill Campus, 300m walk away, gives direct access to Oxford Railway Station, Said Business School, the City centre shops, the University of Oxford and all the Colleges, museums and parks. This route also connects with the buses if you wish to visit Bicester Village, London, Heathrow and Gatwick.
Award winning gastro pubs are in easy walking and driving distance around the outskirts of Oxford as well as a wide range of well known restaurants within the City centre.
Oxford Brookes University has a sports centre open to the public within walking distance at their Harcourt Hill Campus offering a range of sports such as golf, tennis, squash, swimming and a gym.

A clean, light & spacious apartment, that is very convenient for Oxford city centre.
Located in a leafy suburb of Oxford, adjacent to farm land. The apartment is clean, light & spacious. There is a car parking space. It is within three minute's walk of a bus stop with regular bus service into the city centre - takes about 20 mins. There is a walk into the city through park land and across a river - very welcome scenic route that took about 30 minutes to reach the city centre. We were happy with all aspects of our stay apart from the 9am check out, which was a bit of a shock at the weekend. If an extra hour is required for extra cleaning due to Covid, then for us it would have been preferable to have a later check-in time leave the check-out at 10.

Perfect Apartment to which we hope to return!
The apartment is in a delightful setting, just a few hundred yards up the road to Brookes University from where one can catch a bus into the centre of Oxford. The apartment is beautifully furnished and equipped with a most comfortable super-king bed in which to tumble at the end of the day. Very clean and equipped with the basics of coffee, tea, salt, milk etc as well as some lovely biscuits. (Thank you). Sadly, our visit to Oxford was blighted by the thought of coronavirus, as being in the danger demographic we exercised great caution throughout our stay. We will return, providing we survive this contagion. I recommend this lovely apartment as a perfect, peaceful place to stay.

Perfect stylish & comfortable apartment in great location
The apartment was exceptionally well-appointed with everything one needed for a wonderful weekend stay. We particularly appreciated the fresh flowers and kitchen cupboard items.
Very well designed - all furniture and fittings of very high quality.
The location was excellent - quiet, easy parking and a good walk to Oxford city centre.
Would definitely stay here again.

Welcoming, spacious and comfortable
Oxford Apartments One was a great place to stay at the beginning of our holiday. After a long flight from Australia we found it such a peaceful spot to unwind. There is easy access to central Oxford via the local bus a short walk - less than 10 minutes. Amanda was very helpful with tips about getting around also giving an alternative point of view on Oxford life. We recommend this apartment and would stay there again if we are lucky enough to return that way. All amenities are as described.

Could not fault it
Another successful rental with TA. The Apartment is exactly as described and in a very nice area and surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the A34.
Everywhere was spotless the bed was extremely comfortable and provisions provided were as stated. Nice to be able to walk in make a pot of tea and feel completely relaxed.
The walk into Oxford was on a proper path and for most part traffic free. It took us 40 minutes from the Apartment to the Visitor Centre in Oxford. The walk back is a little more strenuous at the end but perfectly manageable or the bus seemed fairly regular. Amanda is available but not intrusive which is perfect .
We only stayed two nights but fully intend to return and explore the area further.

PERFECT
Ever dreamt of a second home near Oxford? Well this is it! The flat is extremely
comfortable (the pictures are really true to reality), and the tea bags and butter and eggs in the fridge really make you feel welcome! The area is very calm and bucolic, but also very convenient (the bus stop to Oxford is very close and it's a short trip to the centre of town). There is a lot of guides and leaflets in the flat too. Amanda is charming and both helpful and discreet.
We had an excellent week there and are looking forward to going back and take day trips in Oxfordshire and come back to that cosy nest in the evening! I recommend the place!!

Great people & well laid out place
Excellent place to stay with friendly and really helpful people. Lovely touches like the welcoming flowers & basic supplies in the kitchen. Really appreciated the lift to the railway so we could get there in time with our heavy bags r a ther than going by bus. Close bus trip or easy 30 minute walk into Oxford.

Outside the city centre you can visit Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds, Waddesdon Manor or Stowe landscaped gardens easily from our base. Warwick Castle, Stratford upon Avon and Henley are a short drive.
Bicester Village Outlet Centre is good for a day's high end shopping or London is only an hour away on the train or bus if you wish to vist the capital to sightsee or visit the theatre or the shops.

How to get there
Arriving in Oxford we are easily found just off the main A34 ring road at Botley if you are travelling by car. We are also on a bus route from the Oxford station, take the U1 Brookes bus to the Harcourt Hill Campus which is a 10 minute journey and we are a 300m walk or we can collect you. If you arrive by bus/coach at the main bus station you can catch the Brookes U1 from the centre of Oxford as well.
