Great value, excellent condition and very welcoming staff. Small size hotel in residential area. Unique and classy style of overall layout and rooms. Room was large, very clean and comfortable. Only 10 min car ride to Oxford campus area - plus also on a bus route. Very good breakfast overlooking a courtyard / garden area. Definite recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Room tip: Room 219 was quiet

Great room in modern classy Hotel. Welcoming, comfortable and with excellent facilities (designer beds too). Very generous and tasty breakfast, good parking. Leave the car and take the bus to town (£3.70 return ticket).
Can't fault anything in this classy comfortable hotel.

This is a nice hotel just out of the city but on a bus route in, the staff can’t do enough for you and are really helpful.
The bedding and towels are good quality and the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast was lovely and had a good choice on the buffet and there was ample parking outside.
Can’t fault it.

Remont is not quite a B&B and not quite a typical hotel, but it provides very comfortable, stylish and spotlessly clean accommodation, with free parking, for a reasonable price. The shops and restaurants of Summertown are a few minutes' walk away, and the city itself a longer walk or short bus ride along the Banbury Road. It is quite a busy road, but if you are worried about noise you can request a quiet room.

Remont has 25 rooms with striking décor, very comfortable beds and good showers. Breakfast is a buffet of fruit and yoghurt, traditional English bacon and eggs etc, assorted breads for toasting as well as tasty (and plentiful!) croissants. The eagle-eyed staff keep the buffet well stocked and provide unlimited coffee.

I fear that some of the negative reviews are from visitors who have made a booking based on their own preconceptions rather than a careful reading of the website. If you appreciate a well-kept, comfortable establishment, with very efficient and friendly staff, close to many good eating places, including a Michelin-starred restaurant, and with convenient access into the city and out to the ring road, Remont fits the bill extremely well.

Very recently, my wife and I spent five nights at this hotel, and we had a very good experience. The quiet location is a plus compared with the noisy city center, but it would take a bus or taxi ride to reach most places of interest in the Oxford. This was never a problem.

Our room was very modern and well appointed, with all the services and comforts you expect. My wife enjoyed the walk-in shower and the plush thick bath towels. Another good point was the large flat screen TV in the bedroom. On several times, we enjoyed the convenient tea/coffee preparing appliances in the room.

We have no complaints about the service received, every wish and request was duly met. The breakfast was of good quality items and abundant. Sometimes, when we needed to have an early start, we had mostly the Continental Breakfast items which are normally ready half and hour earlier than the cooked breakfast.

The hotel location is along a busy street, but noise was never a problem. Also, not too far from the hotel, we had a commercial area (Summertown) with a good number of eating places to select from.

We will gladly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Oxford.
