We spent Christmas in Six Bells, and it far exceeded our expectations. Paul Hageman, the proprietor, is a charming, good natured fellow for whom nothing was too much trouble.
The apartment was large, well appointment, and delightful--fully kitted out with everything you might want or need for a night, a week, or a month. The kitchen was totally functional and came equipped to cook and or entertain. There is actually a full and a half bath that make the apartment even more appealing. The bedroom is huge; look under the bed to find the device that projects the constellations on the half timbered ceiling. In the bedside drawer you'll find great reading material and even a small reading light so that your partner's sleep won't be disturbed. You'll want to pinch the iron, but please don't, I'm planning to return to Six Bells and I'll need it. The washing machine is an added plus.
The apartment is centrally located, nicely decorated, and reasonably priced. What could be better?More
