Lovely little pub always a welcome. Highly recommend the food. Good beer good atmosphere. Lovely staff. Pub quiz are fun as well as Christmas carol singing. Its a hidden gem. Nice area outside to drink. Many a pleasurable evening spent here.

Booked three rooms through my daughter. Arrived 7 pm Fri night. Ordered food for us all. One meal did not arrive although paid for. When my son in law spoke to the bar staff he was told to pay again and sort it out the next day. Both nights excessive noise from the pub downstairs. I understand that it is a pub but the party on the Saturday night went on to 2 am with people singing and shouting at the top of their voices. Surely consideration should have been given to the paying guests with young children. Breakfast was good but the staff need to listen to the requests of the guests. Would I stay here again, definitely not.

Popped in yesterday with the kids after school as it was sunny and fancied eating something al-fresco on their lovely flower adorned balcony.

I had the £5 special Bangers & Mash with Veg and Hendersons Gravy which was lush.

The kids had the Naked Burger and the Hunters Chicken and gave a big thumbs up to both.

Fab little place with smashing food, great staff and friendly customers.

Will definitely be returning to try something else on the menu. :)

Went in at the weekend for a family get together. This is a lovely pub with a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly & efficient. They have a very well stocked bar with a great selection of alcohol to suit all. We ate in there aswell. A good choice of meals which are freshly cooked, very tasty, good portion sizes & cheap in price. Just love this pub. Very highly recommended.

Conveniently located for the tram and a short hop into town. Basic facilities but clean and comfortable for an extremely reasonable price! Our room had a huge bathroom. Pub atmosphere was nice in the evening and the area felt safe. Full English breakfast the next morning was well portioned and tasty, served by friendly staff.
