Just returned from a seven night break at the Norfolk Arms Hotel. It was recommended by my Granddaughter who lives in Sheffield, I'm so glad we took her advice.
The hotel has superb views being high up and on the very edge of the Peak District and only a short drive into Sheffield City Centre. The rooms were very clean, quite roomy and the beers on tap were excellent, much better than our beers in the South of England (if you like real ale that is) instead of lager ! The hotel has a superb garden and serves very good food at reasonable prices. If you want to visit the peaks then this hotel is in the right location. We requested a room change half way through the week and they couldn't have been more obliging, staff there are so polite and friendly. We had a jazz band playing one night which was fantastic, also did quiz nights. We will be using this hotel on our return when we visit family in Sheffield.More
