We arrived early so decided to have lunch and drinks in the bar. Service was great, relaxed, safe, attentive but not bothering. Checking in and adding lunch to the bill, seemless. The bed was extremely comfy and deluxe double was massive. Will defo come back.

What a fantastic hotel. We stayed in room 151, a junior suite. The room was spacious; huge bed; great bathroom with lovely bath; bathrobes; comfortable chairs overlooking the courtyard and complimentary Prosecco and pop. We had an evening meal in the restaurant with a choice of two vegan dishes - both of which were lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back

My wife and I generally work when most people don’t. As a consequence, and even through these ‘Covid’ riddled days, we look to have a Monday evening treat.

Quite why we have never visited The Feathers is quite beyond me! We wanted quality food and drink early in the evening in a safe, congenial, welcoming and ‘period’ climate. This is exactly what we received.

Polite ‘local’ service, perfectly served drinks. An amazing all day menu in ‘The Lounge’ and possibly the best chips I have tasted in many years!

We ordered Chicken Caesar Salad, Halloumi Deep Fried, Heritage Tomato Salad, and finished with Creme Brulee. All I can say is PERFECTION... This is now our Monday regular. Thank you all for a much needed break in a beautiful and safe surround. Also The toilets are immaculate.

The staff were brilliant and the room which was recently refurbished was excellent. Simply put a great place to stay full of atmosphere and history. A great place for tourists that’s for sure and well worth a visit above any other local hotels.
