Our host Anita was excellent, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We particularly liked the flask of fresh milk in our room; not seen that at any other B&B or Hotel. Two packs of biscuits would have been a 5 for facilities but that is me nitpicking. The breakfast was very good with proper coffee.
Tips for other travellers
The Cross Keys pub just over the road does a 2 for 1 meal offer early evening.
The number 3 bus is about 1 minute away opposite the pub which is a good land mark for the return journey in the dark, the bus turns left there on the return. It also runs quite frequently and late into the evening, ok for the theatre.
The car park is to the rear of the property and space may be limited.

Room Tip: We only saw one but it was excellent and am sure the rest are also. There may be limited parking which is too the rear of the property

Nice place. It is about a 5 minute walk to the bus to go into town and to the local pub. Located in a neighbor hood outside of town. Our "garden view" was the side of a garage with a hanging pot. Otherwise it was ok.

Cross Keys Pub (just up the road from High Beeches). Good food, good beer and nicely refurbished.

Room Tip: All rooms good.

We stayed for only one night and wished we had booked for longer.
The owners were vey welcoming, our room was clean and comfortable. A good heart breakfast, with a lot of choice. Very easy to get to city centre, yet situated in a quiet area. Would definitely stag there again; when in Bath.
Eating out at the nearby Cross Keys a must as food is of good quality and service is really good. Ask for Jack a pleasant young man with excellent customer service skills.
