A great B&B . Fabulous view over the city. The Breakfast was superb and Celia was a hostess par excellence! Comfortable bed as well. The wife slept like a log!

We stayed in this B&B for one night over the weekend of 22nd - 23rd February.

Our stay was perfect without any doubt - the view from the room was amazing, the bed wonderfully comfortable, the room superbly clean and the breakfast was one that fueled our adventures in Bath for almost the rest of the day! Of course all this is without mentioning Celia, the lovely, hospitable and exceptional host.

We arrived first and were lucky enough to be put in the room with a view. The second room is just as lovely from a brief glimpse but without the outlook of Bath.

The location is a peaceful neighbourhood approximately 15 minutes walk from central Bath. It is also uphill, so is good for working off the delicacies sampled at Bath's wide range of restaurants.

The bathroom was handy to the two rooms and it was easy to share the shower time with the other couple staying there.

The breakfast was wonderful too, with a great selection of choices and a superbly healthy quantity.

All in all, an exceptional place to stay, a place where we would stay again without a moments hesitation - thank you very much once again Celia, we hope to see you again another time!

I stayed here with my boyfriend in December to visit the christmas markets. The house is one of those lovely 4 storey houses overlooking the city. It is a short walk from the town centre (quite a hilly walk).

I wouldn't say that this is strictly speaking a "B&B" in the way that I would normally imagine one. The two available rooms are on the top floor and the rest of the house feels as if it is a family home. Whilst this does have some advantages, we did feel a little intrusive during our stay. It is quite close to feeling as if you are staying at some distant relative's house and having to be socially aware at all times.

Having said this the room we had was very nice with a very comfortable double bed and tea and coffee making facilities. Whilst there was a tv we were reluctant to use it as we were concerned about disturbing the next room.

The shared bathroom was absolutely fine-we didn't find ourselves waiting for it (albeit we woke up early to try and make sure that this didn't happen) However, I would say that the bshower curtain had seen its day.

Breakfast was very nice-the fruit compote seems to be a must have and the views while sitting having breakfast were lovely. Celia was very nice and helped us with directions etc when we enquired.

A big advantage with this B&B is that they are happy to allow just 1 night stays at weekends-something we struggled to find when booking our break. However, be aware that parking may prove difficult-we were very lucky to find a space but it is a very busy residential area of the city.

We had a wonderful weekend at this totally excellent B&B. Celia it a very kind and welcoming hostess, and made us both feel totally at home.

The breakfast is well above the usual B&B standard - it feels like a 5* hotel!

You share a bathroom with only one other room, and this proved no problem at all.

We loved it! - go there!

We stayed there whilst travelling around England. It was absolutely wonderful stay and if we could we would stay there for couple more days. Celia is the greatest hostess that we have had chance to meet, so careful and cheerful that you feel like at home. There are two bedrooms and shared living room with astonishing views, everything very clean and cosy. The breakfast is prepared from organic products and was served in a living room, so we could admire views. It was a great choice and we are going to visit that B&B again.
