They want a cash payment for rooms upon departure, even if you give them a credit card for the reservation. I don't like doing that, plus no one travels with several hundred £ cash! The older lady that runs it is a bit strange. She will leave notes under your door, which is also odd. Layout of rooms is strange with the sink in the bedroom and not in the bathroom. We left before even spending one night. Wasted a whole day trying to track down the owner to pay her the following day. Called the booking company to complain, they were helpful, but even they couldn't take a payment, nice lady told us to dispute the stay, but honestly, we didn't want any trouble from the odd owner, so we paid her for one night, got a receipt and left.

Overall, just an odd and unexpected visit. Would not be back.

Ticks all the boxes of your standard b and b and is only a ten minute (very lovely) walk from the centre of Bath. The house Jane Austen lived in on Sydney street is on your route to town and you are right across the way from the Sydney gardens and Holburne Museum.

Greenways Guest House is a beautiful house and ideally situated in a quiet area within a short walk of the centre of Bath. Pat, the proprietor, is very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast and very comfortable ensuute twin room.

Lovely old Victorian house run by Pat who has been looking after guests for over forty years. The room was wonderful with everything that you could need. The rest of the house and the garden was really beautiful. Breakfast was excellent as was the rest of Pat's staff who come in to help her out. Can't recommend this place enough. We'd definitely stay there again

Stayed here for 2 nights for a girly weekend and were blessed with lovely weather which made the walk into Bath very pleasant. It took a bit longer than expected, roughly 20 mins but should it rain, I'd recommend a taxi! The breakfast was very substantial and very relaxed in a lovely conservatory overlooking the garden. Our bedroom , the twin room had everything you would need with lovely shower gel etc but we did have a peek in the next room which was gorgeous with a beautiful 4 poster bed! Everything was very clean and Pat, the host was very friendly and accommodating with no restrictions on what time you had to be in by! Thanks for a lovely weekend!
