A lovely hotel in a Georgian house, with plenty of historic character. Rooms are well equipped and staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast too, with local ingredients, and on-site parking is very handy. Would definitely return.

My partner and I loved our stay at the Apsley Hotel. The guest service representatives were friendly and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. We felt well taken care of throughout our entire stay. The breakfast in the morning was Amazing! Fresh and delicious food with lots of delightful flavors. We wished they served dinner as well because the food was so good (hats off to the chef!)The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and we felt like we were living in the Victorian age with the cool interior design. The Apsley was about a mile from the city. Easy to hop on a bus or get a taxi to and from the hotel. We had a rental car and the hotel had a parking lot which made it extremely easy for us to park. We definitely will stay here again in the future and highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay while visiting Bath.

We booked a 2 night stay at Apsley House over the New Year period. We travelled by train and it was a short taxi ride to the hotel. It is a lovely old building. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and asked if we needed any taxis booking and were talked through a map of the local area. We were shown to the lovely Champagne Room on the first floor. It is a beautifully decorated and very clean room with antique furniture. There was even a small Christmas conifer on the dressing table and a good selection of teas etc. There is a large modern bathroom with a large shower and good quality toiletries. Before going out we were able to have drinks from the honesty bar in the beautiful lounge which was all decked up for Christmas. We caught a bus outside into the city for dinner.

Next morning, staff greeted us warmly in the lovely dining room. The breakfast was delicious - there is a different special every day. Afterwards, we took the 45 minute walk through the park to The Crescent and into the city. We visited the shops, restaurants, bars ,and the Roman Baths visit was very interesting and took a couple of hours. After returning to freshen up, we went back into the city by bus for dinner and walked back to see in the New Year in the local New Crown Inn.

After another tasty breakfast the next day, it was time to leave. A taxi had been pre-booked for us and we were sad to leave. We hope to return in the summer to also enjoy the garden

We cannot remember how many times we've stayed at Apsley House Hotel and have never been disappointed. They always remember us by name and the staff is ever so charming. They will fill any request. Our room was #1 this time and was fantastic, a beautiful large room with a view of the back garden. Spotless and very well appointed. If they only had 50 rooms as they fill up quickly so book early.

Room Tip: #1 has a view of the lovely back garden

Wonderful stay at this well preserved country house in bath. Our receptionist was really helpful and the english breakfast provided was great as well. Everything here is beautiful and elegant for us. We have enjoyed so much in the garden and the neighbourhood around. The location from centre its about 10-15 by public transport and 40 by foot. We wish we could stay more days for the next visit.:)
