We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were excellent and the breakfasts were superb. We enjoyed the breakfast so much that we decided we'd check out the restaurant one of the nights that we stayed. It was a memorable seafood feast, then we needed only to take a short waddle up to our room. The location is quite central, parking being the main trick ( I note a suggestion in one of the other reviews).

Enjoyed our stay at Milsoms during the Christmas Markets in Bath. Hotel is very centrally located, with all shops and many restaurants within easy walking distance. Room was small but well furnished and cosy, with tea & coffee making facilities, toiletries in the shower room, and a very comfy bed. On a junction of a busy street, so some traffic noise which may be worse in summer if you need windows open. Breakfast in Loch Fyne’s Restaurant was very good – breakfast food and toast cooked to order so really fresh, and refills of coffee as required. Parking is in a Pay and Display Long Stay car park about 5 minutes walk away, (about £11 for 11 hours, with free parking between 2000 and 0800hrs) but we did not find this a problem. Only drawback of this hotel was the stairs – our room was on the 3rd floor and although we are reasonably fit, a real climb.

Guests at a wedding in Bath and Milsoms was chosen initially for its location in relation to the reception (Walking distance). Very welcoming, the rooms although cosy had a decent size bathroom, clean and some nice touches. My only negative point would be lack of a good mirror with lighting - 2 mirrors in the room but neither very well lit. The breakfast was fabulous, being above a fish restaurant there was smoked dalmon or kippers plus the usual options full english and continental. There is no lift but don't be put off as the central location makes it worth the lack of lift! The stairs paintwork was a little tired but overall a really good centrally placed hotel.

Room Tip: Top floor - no lift but worth the walk to the top for the best view!

Nice location and friendly staff. Breakfast was fine. However, the toilet and sink hadn't been cleaned properly, and the lighting in the room was very dim.

stayed for a short Honeymoon / city break. 2 nights. Stayed in room 2, room not bad, spacious and modern looking, bit shocked to find an open plan bedroom/ bathroom and loo, quite glad not in a new relationship or could have been a little awkward and after 11 years was still not very romantic listening to each other using the toilet!! Would have liked a mention of this when we booked so could have had the choice to switch rooms. Very noisy at night with pub goers and then early morning recycling collections however it is very central location so should be expected really - we did leave very tired and bleary eyed after 2 poor nights sleep! On the plus side, close to all the fab shops and places to eat in Bath and the breakfast was very tasty. Oh and definately worth a mentio was no parking, nearest car park a 5-10 minute walk so meter had to be fed 3 times a day including at 8am!! husband had to set alarm and dash over, not exactly the wake up we had in mind for a few nights away from the children!!!! Overall not bad but wouldnt stay here again.

Location is good. Rooms are spacious and clean. Facilities are good. Bathroom is also clean. Staff (the fat boy) is very nice because he assisted us to take lugguages upstairs to their 1st Floor storage room. Note : no lift here, it means it is not easy for you to take heavy luggage to your room. All rooms start from 2nd Floor. Breakfast provided in the restaurant of the hotel was delicious. You can choose your breakfast and the chef will immediately prepare for you. Go to the roof of the hotel to have nice view of surrounding. Just like other hotels in Bath, the room rate is high.
