Our friends are regulars at this pub, and I'm glad they introduced us to this lovely pub with charming staff, fabulous food and splendid beer.

My friend is a vegetarian and there is a wide variety of all types of dishes, so we were all very happy. Despite the restaurant being busy, it was just before Christmas, the service was excellent and the food was hot and extremely tasty. We will definitely be coming back again.

Great for gluten free. Cooked gf chips separately and dealt very well with all our questions. Lovely homely environment, good service

We booked a table for 8 adults and a child for Christmas Day lunch. The service was excellent no long waiting times between courses and the food was lovely and hot. Especially enjoyed a choice of coffees at the end of the meal and the cost was extremely reasonable. Good value for money.

We have visited this pub/B&B many times over the years and up until 2016 had only eaten here a few times. We found the seafood linguine this summer and have returned three times since to enjoy it again. The food in general is very good and the sticky toffee pudding is top notch. Service is perfectly good for a pub although bar staff sometimes seem a little sullen. Well worth a visit if you are in town. It has interesting decoration and a decent paved outdoor space.

Went in on a Monday night as had just arrived in Glastonbury on a short mid week break and had been recommended to here, but found the service poor and the beer even worse.
We are both real ale fans so tried a half each of what they had on offer to see, but we were sorely disappointed...
The ale was badly kept and almost gone off, bad nose and almost vinigary taste. Perhaps they don't sell much real and were just trying to maximise profit by selling old beer, or perhaps they don;t clean the pipes, not sure but either way we decided not to eat here and went elsewhere..
The bar staff were clearly badly trained as could not even pull the beer properly and was taken back when asked for a 'taster'!! which is very normal practice when selling ales!
