Most welcoming and homely, The barn/cottage was beautiful decorated and all the little thoughtful extras to make it a perfect break, from a welcoming cake to simple washing amenities!
In a lovely location with plenty of opportunities to explore the West Country return again in the near future!

Our group of eleven adults stayed at the Threshing and Apple Barns for three nights over the May bank holiday, in celebration of my sister’s 50th birthday. Our group ranged in age from 22 to 71, and everyone had a wonderful time and had only praise for this beautiful accommodation. The buildings are modern and well refurbished, yet full of character and very comfortable. The facilities were excellent - private sauna and hot tub and a pool shared with two other holiday lettings. Table tennis, table football and an array of board games were also at our disposal. We were very lucky to have excellent weather, so spent much time in the garden, which again was very nicely kept. The hosts were well organised and welcoming - thank you for the delicious cake - but also completely unobtrusive. Much thought has gone in to ensuring guest have everything they need while at staying here. The location is very easy to find and just beautiful. There is one pub in walking distance and two more that are a short drive ( a bit too far to walk for those in their 70s) and the Sunday lunch at the Lime Kiln was very good, with outstanding service. We visited a beer and cider festival at the local village hall during our stay, and encountered some of the friendliest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. We were all quite sad to leave this lovely retreat but would recommend it completely to anyone looking for a holiday accommodation in Somerset.
What a lovely set of barns. We were celebrating a 50th birthday and spread 9 of us over the Threshing and Apple Barns. Very comfortable, clean, warm and everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna were great. We went out on our bikes each day, usually ending up at a pub, and a trip to the Clarks Outlet and Shopping Village at Street was essential. We all came back laden with bargains and other goods. The chaps visited the Fleet Air Arm Museum and said it was very good. The lounge in the Threshing Barn is to die for. We had a log fire each night and there was ample room to seat us all. The kitchen diner also was huge and so the 9 of us used that to assemble for cooking and eating meals. A lovely stay.
Absolutely perfect ........ We booked this accommodation for our family as we were all at a wedding in Glastonbury and it was just perfect right from the start.
Gill met us and gave us a tour of the place with it's hot tub and pool and then left us alone to settle in.
We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our time there - highlights were the hot tub (of course !!), the comfy beds and the food in the local pubs - especially "The Dev".
We'd certainly stay again and would definitely recommend this as a lovely place to stay.
