1st time staying here but it won't be the last. Slightly tired appearance of the hotel but it is more than made up for by the staff you have. We were due to miss breakfast the next morning as we had an early start so the receptionist arranged for us to receive a bag full of delicious continental breakfast, including croissants, pain au chocolate, muffins, yoghurt, fruits and preserves. She really went above and beyond when some would have just said "No we don't serve breakfast then" Thank you
We have recently stayed at fine lane premier inn it’s a very neglected premier inn it’s very clean and the staff are 1 st class so I don’t understand why money is not being invested in this hotel ,it’s so close to the national arboretum, litchfield city and many beautiful surrounding areas .The fradley arms next door is again need of a little TLC but you can’t fault the staff so friendly and a special mention to Theresa on breakfasts she is so friendly and very informative about the area without her we would not have found the beautiful canal waterways at fradley junction. Come on invest some money into this friendly hotel and pub the staff are really worth it.
My wife and I booked for two nights as a getaway for our wedding anniversary. The fittings and decor is dated and doesn't seem to have changed since our last visit here some years ago but overall the rooms etc are clean. However the staff are the biggest asset to Premier Inn.We returned to our room after a day out to find that Sarah, the receptionist had presented us with a bottle of drink on ice, chocolates and a card congratulating us on our anniversary. It really made our day and left me speechless. Thank you Sarah.
The premier inn is fine but you need to source somewhere else to eat as the pub next door is a little tired and the food is not brilliant. The inn itself was really convenient for us as we needed to be at the national memorial arboretum the next day. Check in was excellent and after a long journey we were grateful to be able to check in early. Would stay again but not use the pub next door.
