Lichfield north east

The hotel is sited perfectly for the National Arboretum so should reflect that. The hotel needs to be upgraded as does the restaurant next door. All equipment needs an upgrade including televisions. The rooms are small but fine, so remove the large grey sofa bed out. The lighting is dull at best. Its a superb hotel but need a bit if TLC

Great Staff but very much in need of refurbishment

We stayed here after attending a wedding nearby. We arrived early and asked if we could check as we wouldn't be back until very late. The kind lady on reception sort that out for us!

However the rooms and whole hotel itself is very much in need of a refurb. Everything was worn or damaged, including in the pub next door.

Not up to the usual Premier Inn standards.

The room though was very clean.

Best tip - dont stay there

I have given this one star which is entirely due to the very nice girls on reception. Apart from them the place is badly in need of a refurb - everything about the rooms is old and used - paint lighting bathroom. It is not at all up to Premiere Inn usual standards and you will be disappointed by what you find.

Room tip: wait until the whole place has had a badly needed refurb

Hello Carol, thanks for taking the time to review our Lichfield North East (A38) hotel. Whilst I'm glad the team on reception were very nice, I'm very sorry to hear of the issues you had with the decor of your room. I can imagine this left you feeling very let down and this certainly isn't how we want our guests to feel.

Just so you know, I've now passed your comments to the hotels management team so they can look in to what improvements can be made going forward. We wouldn't want issues like these to continue so retraining for the House Keeping team will most likely be arranged to ensure the best service is being provided.
