Booked our table and were greeted and our drinks order taken and served promptly. We were the only customers in the restaurant at this point. A couple came in who obviously hadn’t booked and are shown to the table behind us. They asked for the dessert menu so that they could decide whether to have a starter or not before placing their order. We waited whilst staff attended to their requests. We then still waited whilst their food order was take ! Even more time went by before the Assistant Manager came to take our order. It was pointed out that we had been left waiting whilst others who had come in after us and had not even booked had been served. Her attitude was unbelievable and made the situation worse. A “sorry it was an oversight” would have sufficed. Due solely to her attitude and excuses that it was because she hadn’t been present any the time, we decided not to eat there but just to finish our drinks. Before we had a chance to take another sip of our drinks a very smug young boy came across and asked us how we would like to pay !!! Horrible experience and will never give them our custom again.
