Returning for a dinner with the family during Miso's 9th birthday celebration - a starter & bento for £9.99.

Don't be mistaken - this is not "Araki" or "Ebi Sushi" or any other deeply-serious Japanese restaurants, this is home-cooked food done in a friendly, welcoming way. And yes, the sushi is more "western" style using cooked ingredients - but appreciate it for what it is, rather than worrying about anything it isn't.

Starters were chicken gyoza, spicy chicken roll, yakitori and pumpkin karroke, followed by a couple of katsu curry, teriyaki chicken and chicken karrage bentos. Delicious.

Visited miso on the off chance we would get a table. They were very welcoming and had no problem that we had not booked. Food was amazing couldn't of asked for better. Staff friendly and welcoming. Will be returning very soon and telling friend about thus place.

Went a couple of weeks ago with my husband. They are not Japanese, the food is not Japanese. Sushi is not made with raw fish, even Supermarket sushi is. Anything resembling Japanese was sold out! We didn't eat there, ended up leaving and going to Sainsbury's to order 2 hot pizzas instead.
Will never set my feet here again. A disgrace to sushi and Japanese food.

This was our first visit to a Japanese restaurant, after visiting Miso we’ll certainly be going to more.

Don’t go by the external appearance, the blinds were closed and we wondered if it was open. But once inside it was quite busy and the staff were very welcoming.

I had a pork bento box. The pork was succulent and with the other items the combination was delicious!

Overall it was very good value and if we lived closer we would regularly come her.

I’ve been to Miso a fair few times now and often recommend it to others. The decor inside is nice, although the tables look a little tired, but the food is what keeps me going back. I’ve only ever tried the veggie options (my other half is vegan and they cater for him too). The pumpkin korroke are great, along with the edamame for starters, and my favourite main is the tofu katsu curry. Don’t expect fast food, this is the ideal place to visit with friends as it is laid back, with good service that does not make you feel rushed in the slightest. We’ve never had to book as it is easy enough to get a table.
