We took the parents to lunch on a Thursday afternoon and it was very nice and reasonable price.

Service could have been a bit quicker but this was not an issue.

We refused to go back to the Miller and Carter around 3 years ago as the food was literally inedible but we went back again on Wednesday night as we were going to a 30th birthday meal. Well; things had not changed much. The eatery is lovely and they had made a few decorative changes which were really good. The service was excellent but in my opinion the food lets the place down. I had a 12oz rib eye as I fancied a steak and I thought, OK lets give the place a chance! The food was served promptly but I was extremely disappointed. Out of the 12oz steak I had 3-4oz were fat and grizzle and as before the food was swimming in grease. There are some steaks on the menu priced up the £50.00 mark I would try one of those but I would not waste my money because quality is not guaranteed. Not good and I will not be returning. That was the Miller & Carters last chance.

This place is amazing !!!

The steak is top quality and cooked to perfection.
The accompaniments with the steak meals all lovely and well presented.

It’s a bit pricier than your average restaurant, but it worth treating yourself.

The restaurant is an old listed building and the decor is beautiful inside.

The staff are extremely friendly and will do anything they can to help you.

There is plenty of parking here too.

48th wedding anniversary our son and wife booked the table never been to miller and carter very impressed with the overall experience good food great staff friendly but professional. Had sirloin steak melted In the mouth then lemon Posset tart with coffee really lovely evening thank you .

Turned up on the off chance, place was heaving but got in and didn’t have to wait too long for the table, couldn’t fault the food or service. Great steak
