Booked this hotel on the advice of friends who live nearby in Norton. Very clean, typical Premier inn standard, friendly helpful staff, comfy bed, extra tea and coffee available at reception but room was well stocked. Right next door to a beefeater restaurant for meals, cheap taxi ride into Norton. All in all it's a typical premier inn in a great quiet location. Would use again.

Couldn't decide where to go for lunch after a long walk around the park and was passing the Premier Inn, remembered they served good food so we popped in.

We were not disappointed, had two main meals for £10.99.

Excellent value.

This hotel is in a good location overlooking the Tees Barrage and handy for trips to Newcastle,Beamish. Whitby and the north Yorkshire moors are not too far away.We were given a family room which was spacious with a big comfortable bed.The room was clean and recently decorated.Tea and coffee was provided with any extra tea coffee milk etc being provided at reception.Wardrobe space was limited and inadequate for more than a couple of nights stay. There were no drawers at all in the room.We paid for a meal package at the Talpore beefeater at the side of the hotel. All the meals were excellent and so was the sevice. All in all a good hotel in a good location but difficult to find if you do not know the area. They should include Tees Barrage in the address which is reasonably signed.

Room Tip: Some rooms are a long way from reception
