“Perfect Shed in a Perfect Location”
Reviewed August 29, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We were lucky to be able to book the Cowshed last minute over the bank holiday weekend. The cottage is lovely- cosy but spacious and set within the grounds of Kenilworth Castle offering spectacular views and peace and quiet.
We were able to walk down to local pubs and shops- I would recommend the Queen and Castle and it is also ideally located for trips to Warwick, Stratford and Leamington.
Zoe was a lovely welcoming host- we will definitely return!

“Chase Lodge, Grounds Farm”

We stayed at Chase Lodge as a base for our daughter's wedding. The bungalow has been completely renovated and is modern, spacious and suitable for people with limited mobility. Our 95 year old mother stayed with us and Zoe was extremely accommodating providing additional shower seat and toilet surround. The property is lovely and quiet and just a 100metres from the Millennium Way footpath. Using the footpath you can walk into Kenilworth across farmland. It is approximately 1 mile.

“"Perfect Quiet Location"”
Reviewed July 31, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We were in Kenilworth visiting family we found the location ideal and that there were many interesting places to visit without travelling too far.

The Cow Shed was equipped with all our needs and a lovely area to sit outside when the sun was shining very quiet and peaceful.

We would certainly visit again and recommend to friends.

“A Christmas Break at the Shed”
Reviewed November 9, 2016 for a stay in December 2015

We booked it for a week over the holidays (December 2015).The small cottage was modern and cosy set in an amazing location, a family run farm behind the beautiful Kenilworth Castle.Everything about it was perfect. Our hosts were very welcoming making sure that we had everything that we needed. They had even thought of mince pies and seasonal decorations to greet us.
We liked everything about The Cow's Shed.It certainly had all the aminities for comfort.Just a small warning for those who might require a good internet connection (then again it was almost a year ago so there might be changes on that). Also own transport is really a must specially if you want to explore the area too.
Highly recommended holiday rental.Kenilworth is an amazing location which makes the stay even better.

“Christmas at The Cow Shed”
Reviewed December 29, 2015 for a stay in December 2015

We absolutely loved every moment and everything about our stay at The Cow Shed.It was perfect. The cottage, its beautiful surroundings and the festive atmosphere of Kenilworth..everything was magical.
The Cottage itself was delightful .It had all the amenities that we needed .It was tastefully furnished ,very clean and very cosy.We were met by the owner on arrival who briefly gave us the information we needed . She was very friendly and had already put up stylish decorative touches to the cottage especially for us ( not forgetting the mince pies!)
The cottage is surrounded by vast green fields with an amazing view of the Kenilworth Castle five minutes walk away. There are numerous pubs, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets in Kenilworth and the main Street is worth the visit. If you have a car ( which I think is a must if staying at the cottage and you wish to explore the area..Warwick, Leamington spa,,Stratford -upon Avon Coventry are all within easy reach. The location of the Cottage is really convenient.
If you are looking for a cosy holliday home in Warwickshire look no further. This place is amazing. We loved it and were sad to leave but happy that our dream of staying at a cottage where we woke up to such beautiful scenery ( and celebrating Christmas..an added bonus!) had been realised.Highly recommended. You will love it.We certainly did.

“Wonderful location and excellent accommodation”
Reviewed July 8, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

I have stayed at the Cow Shed twice in the last year and love the quiet location close to Kenilworth Castle but still convenient for Kenilworth and Coventry.
The Cow Shed is spacious and always clean. Zoe is a wonderful host and communicates well before the stay and is in the farmhouse next door if needed during the stay.

The Cow Shed has a modern well equipped kitchen including dishwasher and a relatively small but modern shower room .

There are also a number of lovely walks from the Cow Shed and nearby.

“Great stay at Grounds Farm”
Reviewed June 15, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We stayed in the 'Cow Shed' at Grounds Farm for 2 weeks, whilst visiting my wife's family and friends, as Kenilworth is her home town. The Cow Shed was lovely, well equipped, clean, and in a peaceful location. We walked to pubs or restaurants most nights, both in the town centre and the old High Street area, and it was no more than a 15 minute, very scenic walk. We would definitely recommend Grounds Farm and will definitely stay there again in the future.
