A wonderful guest house in Stratford Upon Avon.

You willl recieve the warmest of welcomes at the Penryn, the room was excellent with some lovely touches coupled with all the modern amenities such as flatscreen free view television and free wifi.

The bed was very comfortable, with fresh crisp linen and amble pillows. The shower room was good with nice clean towels.

The breakfast was excellent using fresh quality local ingredients, freshly cooked, served with a friendly smile.

All in all the Penryn is a great home from away home.

Helpful and attentive (without being pushy) owners. Clean, warm and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Free parking, a huge bonus in Stratford where the multi-storey costs £10 a day! It is a good walk from town (15 minutes or so) but level and easy to find.

Everything about Penryn Guest House is super!! the rooms were clean, plenty of space, the staff couldn't have been any more helpful, and as for the breakfast there are no words to describe it, certainly award winning. Highly recommended for people wanting to stay in Stratford-upon-avon, on a bus route or 20mins at most walk into the centre. Could not give this place a high enough rating! nothing was any trouble for them and felt very welcoming.

We needed a Stratford based hotel or B&B that was dog friendly for one night, not too much choice available particularly at a reasonable price. The place was easy to find and had plenty of off road parking. The owners are obviously dog lovers and we were given a separate 'garden' room away from the main building. This was fine by us even though our dog is quiet and uses a crate. The room, with a double and single bed, associated furniture and the dog crate was somewhat cramped and the bathroom was a bit 'cobbled together' (not sure why the fan heater was on a 30 minute timer instead of just an on/off switch). We did have a good nights sleep and the room was perfectly adequate for one night.

Breakfast was excellent and the owners friendly. Cost was okay, the place is a little way out of the centre and a bit far to walk for an evening meal. Nevertheless, we would recommend this B&B for anyone overnighting in the Stratford area (particularly if you have a dog!).

Although a bit of a walk from the center, the rooms are well-appointed and quiet. The breakfast is locally-sourced, and first-rate. The couple running the B and B are a bit on the traditional side, but are nonetheless extremely friendly. I have stayed here about 5-6 times, and will return.

Located a reasonably short walk to the train station and fairly close to the town centre this guest house is a real treat. Lovely comfortable rooms with flat screen TV and WiFi access in all areas...Delicious award winning breakfasts with ample choice...Charming and hospitable hosts and a genuinely friendly atmosphere...This place has it all. It is simply a superb guest house and I spent an enjoyable few days here while exploring the local area. Anybody looking for quality accommodation in the area should look no further than this...Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Favourable rates during the off-season make this an outstanding option - No single supplements mean...

We stayed here as a family group (7 adults in 4 rooms) for one night to go to RSC. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had the impression nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were clean, recently decorated and had all the amenities expected. There was apparently also a free Wifi facility although we didn't try it. We walked back from the RSC at 22:30 and although it was a 15-20 min walk, it was perfectly pleasant and the route was very well lit. The breakfast was very good with a decent range of options and the owner was accommodating in allowing us to swap items between the English breakfast and the veggie breakfast. Some of the group went for a run before breakfast - there's good access to the canal for a quiet run. Reasonable parking available and owners were happy to allow people to leave cars there early on day of arrival/late on day of leaving.
