We came for just one night (along with another couple in another room), to see an RSC production. It was our first stay at Moss Cottage.

We were treated with great courtesy, as if we were old friends, and great professionality. That spanned tea and cake on arrival, through advice on walking routes, parking, restaurants with good pre-theatre menus, and some new elements amongst the town's visitor attractions, to a fine breakfast (including the marmalade, of course -- 'date and coffee' was a revelation). We were even contacted promptly about the phone charger we left behind. We enjoyed the blog of reviews on RSC productions, too.

The room, its bed and facilities, and the bathroom were all first-rate. Thanks, Bill (and Peter) -- we'll be back, I'm sure.

Visited the Swan Theatre to see the two Imperium Plays, and our daughter found this B&B as part of our Christmas present to avoid a late night drive home. It was a masterstroke. We were welcomed at 11.00am with the offer of tea and cake, and shown into a delightful, large, king-sized ensuite bedroom on the ground floor. After the play, we had an good nights sleep on a very comfortable bed, followed by an excellent breakfast. The homemade yoghurt and granola mix was superb.

A trip to the theatre to see "A Christmas Carol" meant a stopover in Stratford. We had found this gem of a place and booked our night - it was a shame it wasn't for longer.

Moss cottage is the kind of B&B you seek and seldom find; with a great location (just a pleasant 15 min stroll into town) and terrific ambience, it's what a real guest house should be.

Bill is a fantastic host, with a friendly welcome, the aforementioned cake and cuppa to welcome you, as well as very helpful advice and information on the local sites and amenities.

The breakfast is delicious - just as you would expect. The rooms are spotless and very comfy. All those little "extras" that one loves to find are there to make you feel you are really welcome.

This is a proper Bed & Breakfast, and one that we will certainly return to when we're next in town. Thanks for a lovely experience!

Delayed review due to the length of time overseas, but well worth it. I occupied the Twin Room, located at the front of the house, from September 8th through to the 12th, and I wish I had stayed my entire holiday at this B&B. Bill, the host, warm and welcoming and happy to share his home with anyone seeking peace and quiet. The cute cottage is well maintained and the accommodation is of a high standard. My bedroom was well appointed and complete with a large and spotlessly clean Bathroom. Breakfast was a treat. Apart from the award winning home-made selection of jams, the well presented hot breakfast was made with the best quality produce, and abundant. The Dining Room has one large table where guests come together and share their experiences etc....what a refreshing change. Bill is a great host, attentive but not intrusive and I and others had the pleasure of engaging in good conversations of varied topics.....very enjoyable. Location wise, an approximate 15 minute stroll to the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon where you will find excellent restaurants etc. I highly recommend this establishment if you are seeking comfort and a relaxing getaway.
