The charming three story house is decorated with wonderful anitques. The walls are filled with interesting old prints, maps, and artwork. Our room and the public spaces were spotlessly clean. There is reserved, easy, offstreet parking for guests. (It should be noted that there is a guest room on the ground floor should stairs be an issue.)
The house is an easy 5 minute walk to excellent restaurants, a 10 minute walk to RSC.
Breakfast offerings range from the Engish Breakfast "usuals" to specialties such as smoked salmon and kippers.
Hosts Sue and Simon are warm, hospitable, and very helpful. Be sure to check with them before buying tickets for tours and area attractions as discounts abound. (Do buy your RSC tickets in advance as the plays sell out.)
Highly recommended. We would happily return!More
