We went here to eat after a recommendation. I have been to another similar place - Zindiya in Moseley - not sure if it is linked. It is part of the recent craze for Indian street food, so if that is your thing then come here! I have eaten a lot of street food in India, and also some delicious cheap street food (aka snacks) in more 'authentic' places in B'ham, such as Milan Sweet Shop, and paying double the price at these fashionable places isn't worth it in my eyes. What is worth it in this case is the atmosphere of the place - relaxed and informal, spacious and yet bustling, it was a really nice place to hang out for the evening.

I recently went here for a birthday meal for my sister in law. We made sure we reserved a table as we had a pushchair with us. Food was great not too spicy. Portions were really good sized too. We just ordered 6 or 7 items and shared them out. Chicken wings were brilliant! But most the stuff tasted great. Only the onion bhajis were a let down.

Will defo be going back soon!

Recommended this place by colleagues and it does not fail to disappoint. Lovely Indian atmosphere and also the place seems to be fairly relaxed. The chicken roti roll, flat naan is really good. The fish and chips were ok. Ordering food at lunchtimes can be long, especially on a Friday so they could improve on that. Overall good for nice food.

Finally managed to return to try the food. Previously we had experienced the delights of the beer and we were driven crazy by the smells from the kitchen. We were not disappointed when we combined the IPA with pakora and the mixed grill. Amazing flavours that made a big impression on us. We will be back. Very soon !

I’d been recommended this place by a few people, a few of whom were new to trying different kinds indian food. The nice thing about this place is that you just seat yourself down as long as there is seating available. When you’re ready just order at the bar stating your table number which you’ll find written on your table. The even nicer thing about this place (let alone the food) is the attentiveness from the waitresses, as the service is fast paced and spot on! Moving on to the food, i had the Golgappe, Chana Chaat for starters and The Tiffin as a main. This is a good dish, it can be classed as a taster dish as if you’re not too sure what to order, you get to choose 5 types of food, which also includes two types of poppadoms, rice, roti, raita and sour mango (considered very to indian chutnet). If you like your chai latte’s, then i highly recommend the masala chai. All in all, I came here alone, next time i’m bringing my father who was born in Gujarat, India. Something tells me, this place will remind him of home.
