Owner description: Uncover a world of chocolate delights and enjoy a fascinating, fun-packed day out at Cadbury World. From learning how your favourite confectionery is made and uncovering the fascinating story of Cadbury chocolate, to playing in chocolate rain and adding your favourite treat to a delicious pot of warm liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk. You'll discover the origins of the cocoa bean amidst trees and waterfalls in the Aztec Jungle, before jumping on board the magical Cadabra ride and visiting the brand new 4D Chocolate Adventure zone, a 4D cinema experience featuring Cadbury's most popular characters. Cadbury World is located in the grounds of the original Cadbury factory, but isn't a tour of the factory itself. Instead, you'll discover the history, the making and the magic of Cadbury confectionery as you journey through our chocolatey zones.

Great day out, lots of shows, activity’s and things to see. I especially enjoyed the 4d cinema, but my only slight improvement (which can’t really be helped) is there seemed to be a bit of waiting and queuing at different parts, such as the 4d cinema and the Cadabra ride.

But all round a brilliant day out that I highly recommend.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to leave Cadbury World a review.

We are very pleased to hear you had a great day out at Cadbury World recently, especially riding on the 4D Chocolate Adventure!

Thank you for highlighting the problems you experienced with queuing inside Cadbury World. We understand how frustrating queuing can be at attractions and have endeavored to reduce congestion by controlling the time at which all our visitors enter the exhibition. However, speed of progress through the exhibition varies greatly from visitor to visitor, and occasionally this results in congestion at certain points.

We hope to welcome you back to Cadbury World in the future!

Best wishes.

I'm sorry cadbury world you are just not worth the drive or money to get in. Main attraction was just sitting through some films and displays. Very boring for children and to be honest i was losing the will. Food in cafe was ok but overpriced and surroundings could've been a lot cleaner. The shop was nothing special.... i really dont see what the fuss is about?? I won't be returning.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to leave Cadbury World a review.

We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with your visit, we do believe the Cadbury World experience is a mixture of activities for both adults and children to enjoy. The beginning of the exhibition concentrates on the history of Cadbury and Bournville while other zones provide fun and interaction for children and little ones such as Purple Planet and the Cadabra ride.

We strive to offer a customer experience that suits everyone so we are always happy to read your recommendations.

Best wishes.

Having not visited for a number of years, we decided to give it a go over Easter. Was quite disappointed to see a lot of the history and technical elements of the tour previously included (ie. Factory tour) were no longer there. There also seemed to be a lot less "freebies" at the door - probably due to talk of sugar tax etc these days but still quite disappointing after quite a hefty ticket price.
The shop had some little gems - particularly the factory shop - but with most of the bars being a similar price to elsewhere, it would probably be more successful and exciting if they sold more exclusive products - like bars with the old 1900s packaging for example.
The toilets were absolutely disgusting - I actively avoided going until absolutely necessary as the instant smell as you walked in made me feel unwell. I realise it is difficult to keep on top of restroom hygiene all day in busy periods but it really was quite unpleasant.
However, despite this, I cannot fault the staff who were all pleasant and friendly, despite probably having to repeat the same things over and over all day, the food & hot drinks in the cafe were lovely, a cup of melted chocolate was as always a highlight and it does have a lot for young children and would be a good day out for young families, but bear in mind in school holidays, queues are very long so bring something to keep the kids entertained!

Unfortunately the packaging zone is currently only partly open to visitors, an exciting new zone is on its way! Visitors are still able to walk through the zone and view a static packaging production line but the line is not operational.

Every effort is made to clean and check the toilets on regular basis throughout the day, so I was concerned to read about the problems you encountered with cleanliness. Please be assured your comments will be passed onto to our Facilities Manager.

Great family fun and lots of chocolate, of course.
The museum is very informative and learn a lot about the city and the factory. There are a train ride, fun cinema experiences, even chocolate demonstrations. Lots of things for the children to experience and play. There is even a playground outside.
I do recommend buying tickets in advance, otherwise you might not get in. We traveled by train and had a 30% off (using the Chiltern Railways vouchers). If going there by train or bus is really easy to find it, there are signs everywhere.

We visited with three children under 10. They all had such a great time. We went early and didn’t have to queue for anything. Lots of chocolate thrown in which also made them very happy!
