Pricey for what is essentially pub grub. Nice decor but food lacking. Coffee also terrible and too small (3 mouthfuls) and dont give you enough milk.

I visited the Plough on Friday 17th Nov. at approx. 11.00 am. Not particularly impressed with decor. I ordered an on-tap lemonade with ice (glass half full of ice!) and was charged an extortionate £2.75p (for half a glass of on-tap lemonade!!!) The member of staff that served me was "full of himself" and his manner left a lot to be desired. That aside, how can you justify the price of £2.75p for this drink? I will not be recommending this pub and will walk 30 yards across the road to the Green Man, where the surroundings are more pleasant and the drinks reasonably priced.

Booked lunch for 5 on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered pizzas, fish and chips and chicken Kiev. Prices were a little on the high side but the food was excellent, very tasty and served quickly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Only slight criticism was that it was a little cold sitting out in the conservatory but apart from that no complaints.

The food is not typical pub fayre but definitely more gastropub. Menu has interesting combinations of food and there are so many different things you want to try. People in the party ordered meals including the sweet potato and quinoa chilli, beef, pizza, salad, lasagne and all enjoyed their meal. Dishes are quite pricey but portion sizes will satisfy the hungry diner. Lively atmosphere, friendly staff.
