We came here to watch George Ezra ! OMG he was so good! The music wasn’t too loud, even though it is a small venue it is perfect because u can actually see George! Loved it thank you so much!

We went to see drag show, The Twisted Circus.
The venue is in a great location near the centre of Birmingham with a convenient subway to get across the main road.
The queues were well organised by the professional security staff.
There is free water at the bar as well as a good selection of beers, spirits, mixers etc and crisps.
The floor space is plentiful and there's a few sofas round the edge.
The sound quality and lighting for the show was very good. The toilets are located upstairs and theres lots of them but they've seen better days.

You get two choices downstairs in the stalls is standing only. If you go to a popular concert you will find yourself unable to move so if you want a drink from the bar or need to use the loo expect a bit of a fight to get there. Not that you will want to buy a drink as you might guess they are silly money.
Upstairs however is all seated. You must remain seated as well. Standing up to dance with get you a good flashing from a security guards torch. Though its much easier to move around. There are far nicer venues for concerts than here.

This my first time at this venue First impressions were good. 3 rooms in one building the bar areas were good but only had a few choices of beers. the sound quality in all rooms were very good in fact i would say for a small venue i would say the sound was one of the best. The security and door staff were very good. Would consider travelling back to the venue as the sound was so good. Me and may brother had a great time here.

my first visit to the O2 Academy. venue is located a few minutes walk from the center. A main stage with a balcony area with seating plus 2 smaller stages. Good sound systems in all. Food was available and no to badly priced. the bars where not cheap and as usual ran out of decent beer early on. Staff and security all very helpful and friendly.
