Another great meal. Tried something from their Winter Menu that started the day before. Had the fillet of Samon poached in a cream, leek and Mustard sauce. With potato wedges, broccoli and peas. Had a lovely surprise when the lights we're dimmed and the staff came out with my dessert, with a candle lit on the top and sang happy birthday. Been going back every year, sometimes for birthdays and other times for anniversaries. We had our Golden Wedding Anniversay there. Next year it will be our 60th. Can't fault the food or staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
our 60th. Can't fault the food, staff well everything.

Been here a hundred times or so - this alone testifies to Buonissimo's enduring affection in our hearts (and stomachs). Mateo and his team rarely miss a beat - superb variety of food and wine, expertly cooked and gratifyingly well timed in delivery. Highly recommended, John/Joan Humphreys

What a lovely place. We were a group of 5 who came for a Saturday lunchtime meal. We had the 2 course set lunch menu followed by the sharing dessert plates. Service was friendly and attentive, but not overly. Very friendly and efficient. Could not fault it. Excellent. Well worth the trip from the Cotswolds.

We planned this meal around the desert - the Misto di Pasticcini is a sharing desert plate for two and is always a surprise but it is romantic and charming and a delight. So we went straight to main course but enjoyed the complementary olives and their fresh bread. With two gin and tonics to have a bath in and a good red the total was £85 which was fair for something memorable. This is where I come if I want to enjoy time with someone special. Well done Mateo! Also they are pleased to serve you and are confident you will have a good time (so none of that snooty or surly stuff you can get in one or two places that are just up themselves.) Heartily recommended

We visited at lunchtime for my husband's 70th birthday. What a quality place! Both food and service were superb.
