“Amazing place to chill!”
Reviewed July 16, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Sumptuous, luxurious and just a great place to chill and wind down. Enjoy the wonderful design and luxurious finish of a great open plan living space, opening to the beautiful outside. Sit and read, listen to music or watch a film in amazing surroundings, walk across fields to the water, enjoy a boat trip in the harbour or ride bikes in the great countryside to fantastic beaches. Very accommodating owner and a must to return to.

“A truly outstanding property, brilliantly designed/built, and in a wonderful rural setting”
Reviewed June 9, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

A wonderful place, built with absolute attention to detail. A celebration of space within a beautiful oak timber frame. The first floor landing is in a very modern, almost industrial style of metal, concrete tread and glass staircase, and connecting floor between the bathroom and bedroom . The property is only suitable for 2 people so being around 2,000sq feet there is no shortage of space! The views of the bath, and the views from the bath have to be experienced - not described. We found it so relaxing

“Very relaxing, amazing place!”
Reviewed June 4, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

This place is lovely. Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Inside it has everything you could ask for and is also very cosy at the lounge end with the wood burner going. The bed is very comfy and the bathroom is amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean and although the lights take a bit of getting used to, once you have they work brilliantly to create the mood you want!
Around and about there are loads of nice walks and bike rides and the two closest pubs are very good (The Lamb + The Ship). West Wittering Beach is close by and lovely and Chichester is good for a days shopping.
You will have a great time here and we very much hope to return!

“Perfect retreat for a relaxing break”

The Boat House is beautiful, with every detail immaculately thought out. It is well equipped with everything you would need from cooking utensils, iPod docks, down to the fluffiest towels and robes you will find anywhere. The location is perfect with the beach a couple of miles drive and a local pub within walking distance. For the money, this is worth every penny and more.

“The highest standard of rental property we have ever rented.”

21st century style with panache .....Worth every penny spent! We own the award winning Woodstocker Inn, a small inn located in Vermont, and have very high standards. This place exceeded our expectations.

The fitting out was obviously done with style and vision, and the fixtures from the tub to the unique stair assembly are of a top quality. A small AGA in the kitchen was wonderful and everything one could need from an apron to dressing gowns were provided.

The location is quiet, the bed very comfortable and for those cool windy wet days there is a wood burning stove. Washer/dryer and an amazing lighting systems make for a very comfortable stay. This place truly is a cut above the average and was spotlessly clean.

We will return.....

“lovely place in a lovely setting”
Reviewed May 8, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We stayed for 2 nights at the Boat House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It is a very quiet village but close to the beaches at West Wittering and only half hour drive from Hayling Island. The place itself is very spacious and always nice and warm inside. The bathroom was immaculate with a huge walk in shower and a bath thats lit up in blue. We did find that to eat we had to drive into Chichester but there are a few local pubs scattered around if not. Overall very pleased with our stay
